Seasoned Pickled Daikon

because you  have too many pickles leftover from making kimbap

Ingredients:
• pickled radish
• green onions
• garlic (freshly minced)
• gochugaru
• soy sauce
• fish sauce
• sesame oil
• sesame seeds
• sugar (if using Japanese brand)

Ratio for 1/2 daikon:
• 1 tsp soy sauce
• 1 tsp fish sauce
• 1 tsp garlic

Recommend strongest ingredients use a 1:1:1 ratio for harmony. Adjust all the other ingredients to taste.

Steps:

  1. Slice the radish into half moon shapes.
  2. Mix all ingredients together.

⭐️ Chef Notes ⭐️

  • Recommend using a Korean brand pickled daikon for the best result. Japanese pickled daikon tends to be saltier. I look for ones without food coloring or aspartame.
  • Mix by hand to combine most thoroughly.
